How did it all start…….
I started writing in April 2013 after being sent on a long holiday by an institution of ‘higher’ learning. I opened an account on BlogSpot and it did so well that I wrote over fifty articles that same year. Soon enough I was introduced to Word Press which was my saving grace in terms of visuals and audience reach. In 2018 I decided it was finally time to start my own website and here we are.
I am inspired by the fact that I will not live forever and so I need to leave something behind that will carry on my legacy. I want my articles to give everyone the mental solace they need to become bigger and better people. The greatest reward is to have one person appreciate my literally works and laugh along as they read.
This website showcases articles relating to all my walks of life, the lessons I learned. I write them in a bid to tell everyone that it’s okay not to fit the society’s set standard and they should not be coerced to be anything other than who they are. The categories range from family, feminist fever, love, social amputees, made like a millennial, fashion and beauty, campus life and Karimi Chronicles. They have articles that are highly relatable to people from all walks of life. They are the epiphanies of all sorts.
They are real.
They are us.
